a charitable cause. So, why not get the
exhilaration of being involved in one of our

objectives. These might include increasing

Charity of the Year Adoption

Charity of the Year adoption is an
increasingly popular concept for businesses and
charities alike. They are an effective way for
businesses to focus their approach to
charitable giving and actively involve
employees, whilst helping a charity to achieve
greater financial security and enhanced
community support.
The key elements of charity partnerships are
that the business chooses one main charity to
support over a specific time period, usually
ranging from one to two years. The partnership
is designed to be of mutual benefit and often,
although not always, involves the company’s
staff in some way. With so many options for
staff fundraising this can also be a great
opportunity for team building or just simply to
have some fun!
Engaging with The Little Heroes Charity in this
way allows a sustainable relationship to build
up between your business and the charity. A
member of the charity’s corporate fundraising
team will personally manage the relationship,
helping you to get started with a launch
activity or event, attending your premises to
make presentations to your staff, and offering
plenty of advice and feedback throughout the
entire partnership.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is an easy and tax-efficient
way for employees to donate to their favorite
charities. It is simple for employers to set up
and run, and is an excellent way to show
support for employees’ charitable giving
How does Payroll Giving work?
Sponsorship
There are many different ways in which
sponsorship can be offered to help the charity
meet specific objectives, all of which will
help build a positive image of your company.
Sponsorship offers a value-for-money
advertising opportunity, allowing you to reach
a target audience and raise the profile of your
brand whilst demonstrating a clear commitment
to Little Heroes and the people it cares for in
your community.
In the unlikely event that we don’t have
exactly what you’re looking for, we will work
with you to find a sponsorship package that
suits your needs.
Staff Volunteering
We know that, for anyone in business, time
and resources are precious commodities. That’s
why, if you allow your staff time to spend some
of that valuable time volunteering with us,
we’ll work with you to find an opportunity that
makes an important contribution. Also if you
allow your staff to volunteer for us for a few
hours you can claim it back from your tax.
“Nearly half (42%)
of companies who allow their staff time off
work to volunteer say it helps reduce staff
sick days.”
“92% of employees say that they would prefer to
work for a company with an employee
volunteering project than one that doesn’t.”
Cause Related Marketing (CRM)
When making purchasing decisions, many of
today's consumers have begun to take a much
greater interest in the ethical and social
practices of the companies behind the brands.
Cause Related Marketing (CRM) allows companies
to satisfy this rise in consumer expectations
by aligning their marketing objectives with the
social objectives of a charitable cause. CRM is
one of the fastest growing ways for companies
to form partnerships with Little Heroes.
88% of all consumers were aware of a CRM
programme operating between companies and
charities. Eighty per cent felt more loyal and
more positive about those companies that chose
to work with charities in this way.
