We know that, for anyone in business, time and resources are precious commodities. That’s why, if you allow your staff time to spend some of that valuable time volunteering with us, we’ll work with you to find an opportunity that makes an important contribution. Also if you allow your staff to volunteer for us for a few hours you can claim it back from your tax.
“Nearly half (42%) of companies who allow their staff time off work to volunteer say it helps reduce staff sick days.”
“92% of employees say that they would prefer to work for a company with an employee volunteering project than one that doesn’t.”
Staff Fundraising
Working with colleagues on a fundraising project can offer everyone involved the chance to meet new people, engage in teamwork, utilise new skills, make a positive impact on the community and have fun!
Holding a fundraising event for Little Heroes has real benefits for the employer, employee and us. Whilst raising awareness (and funds) for the charity, you’ll find that working together in this way can raise the profile of your organisation and greatly improve team morale, motivation and communication.
The charity’s fundraising pack has lots more information including an A-Z of ideas for your event, advice on working with the local media and those essential sponsorship forms.
If you don’t have time to organise your own event then your team can still get involved by taking part in one of our pre-organised activities which, this year, includes golf days, cycling, running, walking and world record attempts. Visit our events page for more details.
Whatever you choose we can offer a range of supporting materials such as balloons, posters and t-shirts
Corporate Events
Throughout the year, Little Heroes offers a range of events and activities, especially designed to enable local companies to play a part in fundraising for the charity whilst bringing notable benefits to their business.
